steps
1-Sand the surfaces.Apply cream color acrylic paint in two coats.Let dry.
2. Use fine scissors to carefully cut out the designs you want from the paper napkins. Separate the napkin layers and carefully take off the top layer.Place the napkin onto the surface of the wood and brush some decoupage medium over the center.(eliminate wrinkles)Let dry.
3-Apply sealer.

Steps

white or light colored acrylic paint

How to transfer:
1.Prepare the surface of the wood.Sand and paint white or light colored acrylic color.Apply 2 times.
2.Cut out images to be transferred.
3.Apply medium to the surface.Let dry 20 minutes.Then apply medium again.Place image print-side down on the surface.Use the finger gently push down the picture and push out the wrinkles.Let dry at least 4 hours or overnight.
4.Take a wet but not dripping washcloth and lay it across the back of the paper and wait for a minute. Slowly and lightly begin pressing the washcloth around the paper until becomes more transparent . Start in the middle of the paperand peel off carefully. Work slowly and occasionally apply more water until another large layer of paper is gone. At this point as the image dries there is usually some bits of paper left leaving a sort of white haze.Start the process of wetting and rubbing over again until the images is crisp and clear.

Decoupage
DECOUPAGE:
Basically, you cut out pictures and glue the pictures onto an object then cover the object and pictures with a few coats of glue/decoupage medium to protect it.

Decoupage paper or pictures(The pictures can be cut out of magazines, books, wrapping paper, wallpaper, packages, greeting cards, fabric, etc.(Make photocopies of images) You can also buy designed paper made especially for decoupage.You can use photos(high qualilty color photocopies)
Decoupage medium or glue
Damp rag(wipe up excess glue other clean up)
Paint brush(used to apply decoupage medium)
Craft knife or scissors(cut out detailed pictures
Sealer(you can use decoupage medium, glue as a final coat,or acrylic spray etc.
